What about Sentence review and Extradition ?

Following a lot of questioning about Ale and particularly why he hais still not been transferred to Washington for his sentence review and his extradition date, find here below the known elements summarized.

In June 2007 Ale was summoned in Alexandria before the public prosecutor James Trimp (same as judgement) and the Swiss public prosecutor Brent Holpkamp. The deputy public prosecutor was Daniel Boom.
During this meeting the Swiss public prosecutor informed Ale about the giving up of legal proceedings against him in Switzerland so it would allow him to recover his freezed funds
The public prosecutor of Washington promised to Ale that he could return to France in June 2008 after a final sentencing revision: around 50 % of the total sentence and deduction of 3 years for good behaviour and 3 years for participation to an antidrug training. This would bring the sentence to 4 years maximum. In June 2008 Ale will already have served 2 years which will be deducted from the final sentence.

Since July 2007 Ale has been requesting that a lawyer be in contact with both public prosecutors to have confirmation of their sentiments. His lawyer, Mr. Broadnax never replied to any request. So the lawyer used as go-between in France was obliged to follow the Swiss public prosecutor’s request, to find a Swiss lawyer to question the Swiss prosecutor, that was done, but today we still have no information about the follow up from this Swiss lawyer.

As Ale could never pay for a new American lawyer to obtain this confirmation, he is still waiting to see.
Ale is suffering more and more due to his transfers like this summer’s (travel with chains at hands and feet) but also due to two temporary interruptions of his medical treatment (see letter “Ale is in danger” from November 28th 2007 then mutiny in Big Spring in December 2007 which occured 8 days of collective punishment and bad distribution of his necessary medicine). This suffering occurs permanent headaches, dizzy spells and paralysis of his right arm.

He should be in INS (Immigration detention center)) as he is French and not in Federal detention center as he is the present case. If we come back on the words of the judge in January 2007, he should over all be in a medical detention center with low security and not in this detention center of Big Spring where he is seriously molested.

In January 2008, Ale was supposed to get a final sentence review. Up to now he has still not been transferred in Alexandria and has not received any news about this review.

Mr Broadnax, his lawyer until his trial in January 2007 had also announced the sentence review for January 2008 to Ale and to Eric Navel, Washington Vice-consul, when he spoke with him after the judgement in January 2007. Eric Navel confirmed his words to Ale’s aunts Beatrice des Ligneris and Edith Glatigny, when they came to Washington to see Ale.

Ale does not understand neither the Washington court ‘s silence after the promises made this Summer 2007, nor the lack of reaction of the French Consulate regularly requested. He hopes to obtain as soon as possible his sentence review and his return to France in order to be treated, the detention Center of Big Spring having finally recognized the severe illness of Ale and having decided to practice an MRI scan in the next days.

In the name of respect for human rights and as French citizen, he requests to be heard by his country, by the defenders of human rights, by the American government.

Notre Dame de la Garde keep Marseille and I hope everybody in Marseille remember as the city of Mediterranean sea coast.

Things I like to read or watch on the net :

Miami Splash → What we can think fort Art Basel Miami Beach – Art scene, crazy position, new satellite, yes dealers are in December in Miami, with cell phone trying to have clients over the phone ; Miami vice, yes you can say that (laugh) but not the same one. Ok Merry Christmas and Happy New year 2008 to everybody. I wish you the best, remember to save the planet and any of what you can do during the day it’s important. First, let me say to all my English friends speaking they are welcome to translate from the French and also to translate in other languages like Serbian, Turkish, Arab, Hebrew and much more I forget of course… It is so important for me to share through the blog emotion, feeling, meeting and like Ines Kljakovic an idea I can call to get a drink. I am in prison “ok”, I am not dead for sure. I am learning, I am trying to understand to find the good way of my life.

I found in Chicago a restaurant called “Le Titi de Paris”, classic French cuisine. I love the name of the restaurant, so funny, isn’it ?
Really interesting gallery through that Parker and Katrine Rashid, they launched “Duchess” with an Alexandre Steward drawing made entirely of cassette tape.
Ah by the way, 2 new flavors on Bailey’s caramel and mint chocolate won’t wait to try with a Romeo and Juliette after riding all day in the south of France forest under the rain of winter. What is nice with this blog, it is like a magazine, everyone can exchange, develop between US and Europe and Middle East, Asia.

Our world is really small and power people have to remember they don’t own our world even if they believe so. Now I know only that the biggest energy own this world and we have to take care of it. No one can say it’s like this or like that, no one have the right to forbid like Napoleon was saying “It’s forbidden to forbid”, isn’t it ? It is so important, for me it has always been, but even now more, to think of the “nature” of the earth, of course, imagine what to do without water, without trees. Imagine a desert with only tower buildings. Concentrate human being in “Caca Campbell Soup”, maybe that’s why Andy try to repeat his work like a 1930’s worker labour not free to say he is suffering. Who is the most dangerous ? The man who uses the weapon or the man who made the weapon, (laugh)… Maybe we have to remember Einstein wanted the nuclear for everyone but for the peace, for the progress and not for anyone to use it for a control over other people, for sure not.

Anyway, between the no man’s land from Hollywood and the power of politician who are trying to write their name on the world book, I, simple human being, cry to be free and live in Bordeaux, in Parlermo.

Today I’m listening « I wanna be a rockstar from Nikel Beck » and « Likin’park : what I’ve done » I really like them. There is so much to say and I welcome you to talk about it of course. The problem is to think; I would love to have a recorder to take everything I would like to say to talk about. But I need to write some to translate after.
News of Big Spring! We gonna have a new warden. Better ? I don’t know; there are also saying we gonna have “emails”. That’s would be so great !
I just saw in Italian Vogue my friend Matt Sorum (ex Guns’N’Roses) who now is making a fashion line. It is really important for me to have links with everyone ‘cause meaning I am alive. I still have ideas, concepts. I can be better here. I don’t have the problem of pressure you have outside, with cell phone, freeway and email stress computer, timing, and the rest. It is so difficult to be outside and I realised how the prison we are living in the world of commercials and “bullshit”. Yes true, where is true love who wants to share with you and not use you and millions of things I know you are also living. This blog is mine but yours also; “the Rimbaud boat”, “the Sid vicious”, the Ian Curtis “Joy Division”, by the way if someone can send me lyrics from Joy Division “thank you” already.
My dream is to exchange to know news, to protect artists and art who don’t have any ideas what to do with their art and concept. My friends I hope to bring to all of you everything I can.
I am in prison Texas Big Spring alone, looking to come back.
I miss my family, my friends, my grand-mother.
I don’t know what to say now but can be sure I can feel, I can love, I can dream, I’m not dead. I understand and I am ready to be in touch with anyone.
